Yamaha Motor announced the release of the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1 and its high-end counterpart, the YZF-R1M, which are set to launch in Europe in early March 2015 and later in North America. These models feature a new 998cc liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine with a crossplane crankshaft, producing 200hp. The bikes also include advanced technology such as a 6-axis position sensor and electronically controlled suspension on the YZF-R1M.
