The Yamaha Crux is an excellent bike and I have been using it for more than a decade now. It has offered me good mileage and is a very affordable bike. It is a reliable bike and is very lightweight. The service maintenance is low and the bike looks great with its several good colours. The suspension, tyres and other features of the bike are also quite good. This bike is perfect for a family person looking for an affordable and reliable bike. Yamaha is definitely a good brand and the Crux is a cool bike that offers great value for money.
I have been using the Yamaha Crux for many years for family excursions and it has always served me well. It is a great bike for long rides and has never let me down. It is reliable, comfortable and fuel efficient. It is also great for off-roading, which I have done a few times. The maintenance is also easy and it is a good bargain for the price. I highly recommend the Yamaha Crux for anyone who is looking for a reliable and comfortable bike for long rides.
I'm a proud owner of the Yamaha Crux for the past 4+ years and have completed more than 28,000 kilometers with it. I'm getting an incredible fuel efficiency of 55 kilometers per liter in the city and around 65 kilometers per liter on the outskirts. The maintenance has been hassle-free and the pickup is great for the class. I'm proud to own a #Crux and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and economical ride.
Unfortunately, it's not always possible to find the necessary spare parts for older Yamaha Crux models. However, there are other options available to help keep your bike running smoothly. You can look into buying used parts or even opt for aftermarket replacements. Additionally, you can also consider getting parts custom made to fit your bike's specific needs. No matter what you decide to do, it's important to ensure that all parts are compatible with your Yamaha Crux before making a purchase.
My average speed is 40-50 kmph. It is very comfortable for long journey as I traveled around 300 km in one day. My mother also traveled with me and felt easy on my Crux 106.
Best Features: Mileage with power.
Pros: Comfortable, Value for money, Low maintenance cost
Cons: No fuel gauge and Tachometer
Yamaha Crux 106 is an entry level bike available at most affordable price tag. I have purchased this bike in 2014. It is an amazing entry level bike with basic design and basic features. It delivers an average mileage of 78 kmpl. The Yamaha Crux is definitely a well suited option for a mass market like India. Because it has a low price which is suited to budget for every society persons. It works very well on bad road conditions. Till date, I have covered 12000 kms. Absence of a pass flasher switch which is standard in all bike across every range, is missed. Power and torque of this bike is good for its class. Both tyres are thin, they could have more better than that. Dunlop tyres are well compliment with the brakes.
Best Features: Value for Money
Pros: Rugged Design, Durable on Bad road conditions, Sturdy engine, Comfortable Seating
Cons: Basic Design, Poor Resale Value
I have a 9 years troublefree riding experience on Crux. It is an economic commuter bike and in my 9 years journey with bike, I never faced any problem. It returns me a mileage around 70-80 kmpl. You can also say it a maintenance free motorcycle. Till now, i just replaced its tyres and air-cleaner components. The only drawback i can say it have is its looks. So, if you are looking for economical and tough bike it can be good option for you.
Best Features: Comfortable Ride
Pros: Mileage, Handling, Comfort
Cons: Looks
Few days back, I bought this bike which I find quite good for daily commuting. Its maintenance cost is low which saves my money to some extent. Looks wise it is not so attractive but not bad also. Great aspect of this bike is its low pricing. The fuel economy figures of around 84 km/l in cities and 88 km/l in highways prove to be awesome ones. Seat is comfortable so no need to worry about back ache. The longer wheelbase does bring into equation stability at high speeds and around corners. The handling power of Crux is awesome which will helps you to enjoy long rides comfortably. The bike also lacks in some spheres like it has no front disc, switch gear quality is poor and most importantly it does not have electric start option, only self start is there.
Best Features: Economical & Comfy Ergonomics
Pros: Longer wheelbase, comfy seat and ergonomics, exceptional ride quality and handling, low kerb weight, economical
Cons: No front disc, poor quality of switch gear, no electric start, double cradle frame, prone to frequent gear shifts
