Hi, I am Suresh Nagpal from Chennai. I bought TVS Phoenix three year back and is happy with its performance. It is a strong contender in the 125 cc segment. It is best suited for normal commuters who want excellent fuel efficiency combined with decent pickup and mileage. The brakes are very sharp and headlights are also very bright and you cannot face troubles during night. The looks and design is satisfactory not so much impressive. Shifting gears is very hard which sometimes create problem while driving fast. But overall it is a good bike which is budget friendly and is best fro daily commuters.
Best Features: Good Pickup & Value For Money
Pros: Easy handling, refined engine, good pick up, good value for money
Cons: Controversial looks, doubtful build quality, hard gear shift
Hi, I request not to buy TVS Sport bike. There's a lot of gap between the mileage said by the company and its on-road mileage. Hero company is best, as they give good warranty and also there will not be much gap in mileage they say and on its on road mileage.
Best Features: Looks
Pros: Looks
Cons: Mileage and stopping problem
Bike is overall good with average mileage 47-50 kmpl but vibration & alignment is quite poor what I have. Handlebar is not adjustable & wiser makes huge noise because of vibration nature. Need huge improvement but still best in segment if could give smoth ride like Hero & Honda bikes.
Best Features: Braking & pickup ,torque
Pros: Style, power & finishing
Cons: Vibration, alignment
I am riding Jupiter from 11 months and I can say it's the best scooter in this price bracket. The seat is comfortable, handling is good and and it hold a pretty good look also. It gives me 59 kmpl average and its luggage room is also sufficient for carrying my daily to daily stuff. I am fully satisfied with my Jupiter.. :)
Best Features: Mileage and Looks
Pros: External Fuel Filler Cap, Front Telescopic Suspension
Cons: Tyres Do Not Provide Enough Grip
Two months back I bought my new TVS Jupiter in Grey shade. I find it stylish and is better than Activa in fuel efficiency. The engine performance is also very good. It is very easy to handle and the ride quality is amazing. Sometimes I drive my scooter for several hours and I have noticed it really offers a comfortable and smooth experience. Look wise, it has impressive style and it has huge storage space for storing items. It has alloys tubeless tyres which holds a good grip on tough roads. The negative point which I find in my scooter is that it lacks disc brake which is little bit disappointing.
Best Features: Impressive Style & Good Mileage
Pros: Huge storage space, tubeless tyres, good handling, impressive style, comfortable, good mileage
Cons: Absence of disc brake
I bought my Apache RTR 160 in December, 2010. I just love the first feel I got after sitting on this bike. I also took ride on other bikes but it was completely different experience. The handling of bike is perfect, I never feel back pain as I ride my bike daily about 15 km. Yeah, the tire grip is not satisfactory on wet roads. Brakes are also good but rear shock absorbers give bad sound when it gets to a big ditch. So if you are looking for commuter bike with good mileage, this is not a bike for you.
Best Features: Style & Looks
Pros: Styling, Top end Performance, Brand
Cons: Vibration, Uncomfortable Seat, Tires
It’s a bouquet of power, style, mileage and comfort. According to me Apache has got the toughest body, compared to Yamaha FZ. Handling wise it offers a good feel and shocks are quite responsive and make the ride enjoyable and happy. Engine sound is normal compared to all other 150cc four stroke bikes. The front brake is amazing but rear disc is little hard. If we apply both at the same time than it works great. Look wise it is quite different from all other bike, eye catching parking lights, clear head light and smooth finished indicators.
Best Features: Great Pick-Up and Stylish
Pros: Good looks, better mileage, stylish, comfortable riding position, great pick-up
Cons: Hard back disc, notchy gearbox, vibration issue, tire grips are not good
I am a proud owner of TVS Apache RTR 180 which I bought in October, 2014. I bought White color in this bike and it always amaze me when I go for long drive. I can easily handle it in city traffic because of its light weight and the best thing I feel in this bike is its fuel tank capacity which allows me to travel around 650 kms without worrying about fuel stop. As I am 5'9", I can easily setup on its upright sitting position. I would recommend this motorcycle to the good height person.
Best Features: Stylish Outlook
Pros: Appearance, Tyres, Light weight, Easy Maintenance
Cons: Low Fuel Efficiency
The TVS Apache RTR 180 is a superb bike keeping in mind its looks, performance, riding, handling and thrill. Every youngster eyes to own this bike with all his heart. Apart from these factors the TVS Apache RTR 180 also gives a fairly satisfactory mileage too which ranges between 35 and 45 kilometers per litre. Apache has the roar, the thump that no other bike in this segment has. I just love its sound, no need to modify the exhaust or anything to get the thump.
Best Features: Good Value For Money
Pros: Amazing looks and style, powerful engine, good value for money, vast service network, exhaust note or sound, tubeless tyres, comfy lowered seats, longer wheelbase
Cons: Lack of 6th gear, doubtful build quality, bad mileage
Don't buy it because the weight is just 95 kg and it floats in the air. Meters looks very bad.
Best Features: Looks
Pros: Looks
Cons: Meter is like old M80
Average mileage of TVS Scooty Zest is only 33-39 KMPL, you won't be able to get 50 or 60 KMPL!! The same view of others also. Dealer service is very poor.
Best Features: Looks and light weight
Pros: Looks and light weight compared to others and best for ladies

My bike TVS Star City is a superb bike with great looks and it gives great mileage of 55 on city roads
Best Features: High speed stability for racing 90km speed
Pros: The ECO thrust high pickup engine and no sound in the engine like pulsars, jhanjanat nahi hai
Cons: Service centers
I am using Apache rtr 180 since 2012. It's a perfect bike for hills and off roads conditions. Powerful engine with good suspension. never got fatigued despite of driving continuously for 3 hrs. most attractive part of this vehicle is its design and beast looks of headlamp. You cant keep your eyes off it. though I have face problem with its handle bar quite often. its got loose after few months and cause noise while driving on rough conditions. n there is no permanent solutions for it. it gives 43 kmpl avg on city and 47 kmpl on highway. avg maintenance cost is Rs 400-600 per service (paid) *authorised service centre. All totally its a good vehicle in terms of look , performance and easy riding.
Best Features: Its speed and suspension quality.
Pros: Excellent riding on busy traffic. pick up is amazing on hilly roads.
Cons: Its vibrations on high rpm and recurrent handle bar noise.
Most of the thing about the bike is good but it is very unstable, especially under braking.Front tire easily locks-up and slips away. If you are riding in the wet, BE AWARE!
Best Features: Good for Mustani
Pros: Looks good from the front. Very good acceleration. Comfortable for long rides
Cons: Not so good from the back, especially with skinny tires. But poor under braking. Consumes much fuel if accelerated hard. Feels shaky & vibrates over 80km/hr.
TVS Apache Hyper Edge is a very good performance bike with good looks. Mileage is 40 plus in city and 48 in highway. So overall this bike a good option who want a 150 cc bike and I am fully satisfied with this bike.
Best Features: Aggressive Looks
Pros: Looks, performance and mileage is very good
