The expected price of Yamaha MT-25 is INR 2.2 lakhs. It is a naked street bike for the Indonesian bikes market inspired by the Yamaha YZF-R25. It would be available in 3 color options including Silver Blue, Black Strike and Red Rage.
The MT-25 comes equipped with the same 249cc liquid-cooled engine in a parallel twin cylinder configuration that is seen on the Yamaha YZF-R25. The fuel-injected engine releases maximum power of 35.5 BHP @ 12000 rpm and torque of 22.6 NM @ 10000 rpm. A six speed manual gearbox does duty on this machine.
It has a bore of 60 mm and stroke of 44.1 mm. The braking system of this motorcycle is handled by a floating disc of 298 mm at the front whereas the 220 mm single disc performs its duty at the rear. It has telescopic forks of 41mm at the front while the rear end gets a mono-cross suspension. The tyres remain 140/70-17 for the rear and 110/70-17 for the front.
Measuring 2090 mm in length, 745 mm in width and 1035 mm in height, Yamaha MT-25 holds a wheelbase of 1380 mm. The seat height is 780 mm, ground clearance is 160mm, fuel tank capacity is 14 litres and oil tank capacity is 2.4 litres. The naked bike comes loaded with a digital-analog instrument console which includes digital speedometer, trip meter, odometer and analog tachometer.
