In India, TVS Motor is all-set to launch the ABS and Fi variants of Apache RTR 200 in September. Earlier this week, TVS Motor Company’s official page shared a teaser image of Apache with FI and ABS. The brand has updated the official RTR 200 website and has listed ABS under the features and specifications. Apache 200 is undoubtedly one of the most appealing motorcycle in its segment. TVS had confirmed that they will launch the much awaited Apache 200 FI ABS in the 3rd quarter of 2017 and consider that September is the last month of the 3rd quarter. TVS will offer 2-channel ABS on the Apache RTR 200 and this bike is expected to be priced INR 1.04 lakhs, which is around INR 11,000 extra in addition to the non-ABS model.

TVS Apache RTR 300 or the Akula 310 is currently in its testing phase and won't launch before the festive season of 2017. BMW G310R, the motorcycle on which the Akula is actually based will launch in March 2017. Also, the full faired Akula 310 is expected to carry the RTR 300 name but TVS has confirmed nothing on this topic. It will be powered by the same 310 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 33.6 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. The concept weighs just 130 kg. Bajaj Avenger is a 149 cc single cylinder bike capable to produce 14.3 Bhp at 9000 rpm against a torque of 12.5 nm at 6500 rpm. It has got a seat height of 725 mm and top speed of 105 kmph. Moreover, there is no information about the launch of TVS Akula for now. Since this was a concept bike by the company, there are no proper specifications for its seat height till date.

Pulsar CS 200 is expected to get the power form the same 199.5 cc engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling, producing 24.5 HP and 18.6 Nm of torque with its 6-speed gearbox. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V costs INR 88,990 while the CS 200 is expected to stay around INR 1 lakh or even more.

The TVS Apache RTR 300, better known as Akula 310 is currently not in production and may get displayed as a production product in the coming months. You can contact TVS motors directly after the product launch and they may help you with the export formalities and product description. Currently it is expected to share its engine with BMW G310R and may loose many premium parts when getting under its testing phase.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 is currently not available in Nepal. It is priced at INR 88,990 in India and even comes with a fuel injected variant. The price for the second one is still unknown while the Pirelli tyres on offer makes this bike very good on track performer. TVS may soon launch all the variants of this bike in India. The exports would start a bit late after providing the initial batch to the already booked customers.
