Which bike is best: Yamaha R15 V2.0 or KTM 200 Duke?
29 December 2022 06:04
Both bikes have their pros and cons, but the KTM duke 200 is a better choice. Here's why.
1) High-power 200cc engine: 25bhp and 20 Nm torque. Revs to 10000 rpm, and sounds like a two-stroker. Also has enough low-end torque to be able to cruise at 35kmph in 6th gear.
2) It has a short-ratio gearbox which allows the bike to accelerate to 100 KMPH in just 10 seconds.
3) It is loaded with features such as trellis frame, Multi-function fully digital speedo console, alloy one-piece handlebar, aluminium swingarm, upside-down front forks etc
4) The riding position is better for long distances.
5) It a very light bike, has good handling, can easily cut through traffic and perform well on the track too.
Why KTM RC 200 does not have an ABS braking system?
29 December 2022 06:02
KTM RC200 is offered without an ABS system in order to cut down the cost and present it as an effective motorcycle when seen from the price tag. If the company offers ABS and the same Metzeler tyres on the RC200, it would cost around INR 30,000 more than the current price. The new price would be INR 1,99,000 while the RC 390 is again priced very near to the same at INR 2,14,000. This would not let the 200 cc motorcycle sell with good numbers as INR 15,000 can bring nearly double powered engine to the same motorcycle.

What is the exact launch date for KTM 125 Duke and RC 125 in India?
29 December 2022 06:02
Unfortunately, KTM has no plans to launch the Duke 125 and the RC 125 in India.
Possible reasons behind this could be:
1. Not enough customers for either motorcycle because they'll be priced quite high compared to other 125cc motorcycles. Rajiv Bajaj has said "Bring me one customer who'll buy the D125 and I'll launch it in India right away!"
2. Mileage is a big concern for Indian customers. Both the 125 cc bikes by KTM have reported a mileage of just 25-27 KMPL. This is because KTM engines are tuned for performance, and neglect other factors such as fuel efficiency.
3. The 125cc offerings by KTM are available in the European market only because the learner limit is 125cc and/or 15 Hp.
Launch date for these bikes: Hyosung GD250R, Kawasaki Ninja 250SL, 2016 Honda CBR250R, and KTM RC 250?

Launch date details of the followings bikes are:
1-Hyosung GD250R: The GD250R is a full faired 250cc bike producing 28 bhp and 24 NM torque. No news regarding the bike's launch is out yet. However, some sources say it could be launched this year, or early next year.
2-Kawasaki Ninja 250SL: The Ninja 250SL is expected to be priced around INR 2 lacs. However, Kawasaki hasn't said anything about its launch date.
3-Honda CBR 250R(2016): Honda has no plans to launch the 2016 CBR 250R in India. It is focusing on bigger bikes.
4-KTM RC 250: The RC250 is a great bike, and can fill in the gap between the RC200 and the RC390, however the chances of the RC250 to launch in India are very low. We don't expect the bike to come out anytime soon.
Which one is best: KTM RC 200 or RC 390? Can I defeat RC 200 with RC390?
29 December 2022 06:02
The RC390 is definitely better. It is a mighty powerful motorcycle. It derives power from a 373cc engine pumping out 43 BHP and 35 NM of torque. Now compare this to RC200's 199 cc engine which produces 24.6 bhp and 19.2 NM of torque.
Clearly, the RC390 is leagues ahead of the RC200. So rest assured, you can defintely defeat RC200 with RC390.
Also, the RC390 can hit a top speed of 179 KMPH compared to RC200's 140 KMPH.
Is KTM Duke 125 RC a double-seat motorcycle? Is the seat adjustable?
29 December 2022 06:02
The KTM RC 125 is a two-seater motorcycle. Infact, every RC series KTM motorcycle is a two-seater, be it 125, 200 or 390.
However, the seat is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
This is what KTM says about RC125 seat "The two-part seat offers first class supersport ergonomics with perfect support for rider and pillion. With a seat height of 820mm it enables the rider to have a secure stand while also being high enough for sporty use and real big-bike feeling."
Which is a better brand in 250cc category: KTM or Benelli?
29 December 2022 06:01
KTM is a better brand when compared in the terms of better performance and overall value for money for the lightweight motorcycling products. KTM internationally offers 125, 200, 250 and 390 cc motorcycles in the lightweight sport segment whereas Benelli only has 250 cc TNT 25 in the same segment. Benelli will soon develop a 150 cc motorcycle but any of the bike from Benelli’s single cylinder range cannot compete with the same size KTM bike.
Launch Date of KTM RC 390 (2016 upgraded model)?
29 December 2022 06:00
The 2016 KTM RC390 has been launched in India on 10 February, 2016. The bike gets a new slipper clutch, and an always “on” headlight. However, it has missed out on some features available in the European market such as a bigger front disc, a ride-by-wire system and a canister exhaust. The bike's price has remained unchanged at INR 2,13,504 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Coming to comfort, the bike isn't ideal for daily driving. Firstly because city drives crowded with traffic jams, and the RC390 absolutely hates this, it heats up like crazy. Secondly, the riding position is very aggressive, and the pillion seat is a little uncomfortable. The RC390 is a machine built for the tracks, so unless you're completely mad about the bike, don't use it as a daily commuter.

What will be the major changes for 2017 model KTM Duke 200 or I should go for present model (2016)..?
01 August 2023 07:43
You can go for the present KTM 200 Duke as KTM may not launch the 2017 model in the country anytime soon. The revision will include the addition of ABS to the bike while everything else is expected to be kept the same. The motorcycle is a very good option for everyday riding as it comes with an upright stance as well as a peppy 199.5 cc engine with an urge of acceleration. It currently sells for INR 1,43,000.
Which is the best one: Benelli TNT 300 or KTM Duke 390?
29 December 2022 06:00
KTM Duke 390 is the best bike when compared to Benelli TNT 300. Benelli offers its twin cylinder 300 cc machine with 37.73 BHP and 26.5 NM of torque at a price of INR 2,97,000 whereas a more powerful 373.2 cc engine from KTM provides 43 BHP and 35 NM of torque at INR 1,95,000. KTM Duke is lighter, faster and more precised when it comes to cornering whereas TNT 300 is more like a street inspired sport tourer from its riding style.
What is the price of KTM RC 125 in India?
29 December 2022 06:00
KTM RC125 has no launch plans for the country as KTM will not be able to price the bike properly due to 95 percent part sharing with the elder cousins from the RC family. The RC200 is priced around INR 1,69,000 whereas it’s INR 2,14,000 for the RC390. The INR 45,000 gap between the both is justified by bigger engine, premium tyres, dual channel ABS and a slipper clutch. On the other hand, by providing no such difference, KTM cannot price the bike with another INR 45,000 drop and even if done, the INR 1,24,000 price tag would not justify the 125 cc character of the bike.
