Nope, it won't offer up the same customization options that the Classic does. It’s iconic and that is why it has so much aftermarket support. They’ll be more niche and thus the Sherpa will be more niche.

You’re both missing the point. It's safe to assume the Sherpa will have its own special style of customization. We’re more thinking rugged, offroad inspired mods versus the retro cafe racer stuff we see on Classics.

I think RE is going to have a ton of official accessories for the Sherpa. They've seen how popular customization is and they’ll want a piece of that pie.

The real question is will the customized Sherpa actually be more capable off road or will it just look that way. That will tell us what kind of mods will be popular.

Social media is a powerful thing, don’t underestimate it. If a handful of influencers start modding Sherpas, we could have a whole scene explode out of that pretty quickly.

I believe it'll be a two camp split: one group doing practical, adventure mods and another doing more aesthetic stuff more akin to urban mods. It could be really interesting to see what people come up with.

I actually enjoy driving it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not sporty, but it is smooth, and the high seating position is great.
