| TVS Apache RTR 250 is a rumored model, most likely to be based on the Draken concept. It will be using the same engine and gearbox combo from the concept, producing a max of 38.5 BHP and 23 Nm of torque. There have been no hints about the bike from TVS as they have been working on a full faired version of BMW G310R, that would come with the TVS logo and an attractive price tag. | TVS Apache Xventure 180 has no launch plans in India. The motorcycle is actually the same 180 cc Apache that is being sold in India but carries different paint schemes. The engine powering the same is 177.4 cc, single cylinder unit producing 17.03 BHP at 8500 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 124 kmph. The motorcycle claims 0-100 kmph in 14 seconds while weighs just 139 kg. The huge 16 liter fuel tank is good for 500+ km in single refill. It rivals Bajaj Pulsar 180, Honda CB Hornet 160R and Suzuki Gixxer in it segment. | TVS X21 Racer Concept was showcased at 2016 Auto Expo. It is powered by a 212.4 cc, single cylinder engine that is liquid cooled and fuel injected. The undisclosed amount of power makes it good for 0-100 kmph in just 8.7 seconds and top speed of 148 kmph. It still uses the 5-speed gearbox and carries 280 mm/240 mm of front as well as rear disc brake. It was showcased with Michelin tyres and still needs a lot of research for a road legal design on its advanced frame. Once on road, it will rival Pulsar 220F in its segment. | |
