| KTM 990 Super Duke R is a discontinued liter class street fighter that carried a powerful 999cc engine. It was good for 121 BHP at 9000 rpm and 100 Nm at 7000 rpm. The best part was its low weight of just 184 kg, making it faster than most others in its segment. It claimed a top speed of 240 kmph while took just 4 seconds for a 0-100 kmph sprint. It used a twin cylinder engine like most other KTM models and came equipped with twin 320 mm front disc brakes for superior braking performance. It used the best in class 48 mm front USD forks from WP. Rivals for the 990 Super Duke R are Kawasaki Ninja Z1000, Honda CB1000R, Yamaha FZ1 and Suzuki GSX-S1000. | NA | ||
