Ducati 899 Panigale was sold before the current generation 959 Panigale came into existence. The premium sport machine from Ducati is powered by 898 cc, twin cylinder engine producing 146.1 BHP at 10750 rpm and 99 Nm at 9000 rpm. It used a 6-speed gearbox for transmission duties. The bike weighs 193 kg, making it 7 kg lighter than the current generation model carrying 955 cc engine. Most of the parts are carried over from the 899 Panigale, including the large 17 liter fuel tank. Ducati 899 Panigale rivals Kawasaki Z800 and Triumph Daytona 675R.NA
