BMW F 900 R Updates

BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2024 BMW F 900 R with several updates, including new color options such as Racing Red and Blackstorm Metallic. The bike also features an optional Intelligent Emergency Call system, which adds a SOS button, loudspeaker, and microphone to the handlebar controls. Additionally, the Premium Package now includes an M Endurance Chain and ABS Pro. I believe these updates make the F 900 R a more appealing and safe option for riders.

In France, BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 R Sport Edition and F 900 XR Sport Edition, inspired by the M range. These special editions come with new paint jobs, seat covers, rim stickers, and a spoiler, but no performance upgrades. The Sport Edition Pro adds features like Pro high beam headlights and a tire pressure monitoring system. I think these cosmetic changes will attract fans of the M series, even if the performance remains the same.

The 2024 BMW F 900 R and F 900 XR models will see changes in their color schemes and optional packages. For the F 900 R, the new colors include Racing Red and Light White, while the F 900 XR gets Light White and Racing Blue Metallic 2. The Intelligent Emergency Call feature is now available as a stand-alone option for both models. I believe these updates will keep the bikes fresh and competitive in the mid-size motorcycle segment.

BMW Motorrad UK is hosting the BMW F 900 R Cup, a racing series where riders compete on identical 105hp F 900 R roadsters. The series includes nine rounds, with the first round in Spain and the rest in the UK. This competition is designed to be accessible for both aspiring and experienced riders. I think this initiative is great for promoting the F 900 R and fostering a community of enthusiasts.
