Aston Martin has unveiled the new Vanquish, its most powerful series production car to date, with a 5.2-litre Twin-Turbo V12 engine producing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque. This flagship model boasts a top speed of 214mph and accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds. The Vanquish features a new chassis structure with an 80mm increase in wheelbase, enhancing stability and handling. I think this combination of power and refinement sets a new benchmark for ultra-luxury sports cars.

The 2024 Aston Martin Vanquish was revealed with a stunning world premiere in Venice, Italy, during the Venice International Film Festival. The event was attended by celebrities and featured music performances, highlighting the cars exclusive and luxurious appeal. Aston Martin’s Formula One drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso unveiled the car, emphasizing its connection to both road and track performance. This launch marks a significant moment in Aston Martins history, solidifying its position in the ultra-luxury segment.

The new Vanquish is equipped with advanced technology, including Bilstein DTX dampers, an Electronic Rear Differential (e-diff), and bespoke 21-inch Pirelli P ZERO™ tyres. The car also features a full-length panoramic glass roof and a state-of-the-art infotainment system, enhancing its luxury and comfort. Production is limited to under 1000 examples per year, ensuring exclusivity for its owners. I believe the attention to detail in the interior and exterior design makes this car a true masterpiece.

Aston Martin has redesigned the Vanquishs engine, reinforcing the cylinder components, reshaping the camshafts, and updating the turbos for quicker response and greater maximum boost pressure. This results in 824 horsepower and 738 pounds-feet of torque, making it the most powerful V-12 Aston Martin ever. The car uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The performance figures are truly impressive, and I think this engine will set new standards for V12 powerplants.

Discussions and Questions Aston Martin Vanquish
Is the Vanquish V12 a grand tourer or a true driver’s car?
03 February 2025 11:15
Realistically, it’s a grand tourer with a bit of sport to it. That’s not a problem, but it won’t be able to keep up with dedicated sports cars on a track.
IS THE ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH V12 THE VEHICLE YOU’VE BEEN DREAMING OF, OR HAS IT BEEN SIGNED, SEALED, AND DELIVERED FOR ITS HEFTY PRICING?
03 February 2025 11:14
Without question, the original Vanquish from the early 2000s. 'Let me tell you where Bond was first cool, it was in 'Die Another Day' and basically cool for a whole generation.'
How does that Vanquish compare with its Italian rivals?
03 February 2025 08:13
The engine sound is nailed by Aston. The Vanquish's V12 is certainly up there with the best of the Italian powerplants in terms of aural pleasure.
Is the Vanquish’s performance worth the price over the DB12?
03 February 2025 08:13
That depends on what you are looking for. If you want the ultimate Aston experience, however, the Vanquish is worth it. However, the DB12 is likely the better purchase for most.
Is the new Aston Martin Vanquish worth the hype?
03 February 2025 08:13
Absolutely! The new Vanquish is an absolute work of art. Just that V12 sound alone is worth the price of admission. It is the ideal combination of luxury and performance.
