Is the new Aston Martin Vanquish worth the hype?

It's a mixed bag. The interior feels a little old compared to some rivals, but the engine is a work of art. I expected more innovation inside.

If you are an Aston fan, it is absolutely worth it. It’s not perfect, but it’s a huge step up from the previous generation and a genuine halo car for the brand.

I'm on the fence. It’s gorgeous and powerful, but I’m not sure I’d want to own one long term because of Aston’s reliability track record.

Is the hype real? Yes. Is it a car for a very specific audience? Yes. It’s not trying to be the fastest or the most track focused and that’s fine.

Overrated, if you ask me. That kind of money I’d rather have a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a nice daily driver. More bang for your buck.

Worth every penny! The detail, craftsmanship and performance are all top notch. It is a proper grand tourer and it can hang with supercars.

There is hype, but it is warranted, with caveats. The rear end design is polarizing but it’s a stunning car. I don't like the "ASTON MARTIN" lettering across the back.

I'm not convinced. Yes, it looks good, but that ZF8 transmission is a disappointment. Given the price range for a car, I was expecting a more sophisticated gearbox.

Absolutely! The new Vanquish is an absolute work of art. Just that V12 sound alone is worth the price of admission. It is the ideal combination of luxury and performance.
