Latest Updates
Monday, 15 July 2019 02:17 PM In July 2019, Hyundai launched the Grand i10 Cargo panel van in South Africa, but for the Indian market, the Grand i10 continued to be a popular choice. The 2018 model in India saw no such cargo variant, but it did offer a spacious 256-liter luggage compartment that could be expanded to 1,202 liters with the rear seats folded down. This made it a favorite among those needing ample storage space. I think this feature really sets it apart in its segment.
Saturday, 08 September 2018 03:02 AM By September 2018, Hyundai updated the Grand i10 with significant safety features, including airbags and ABS as standard across all variants. This move was part of Hyundais effort to enhance safety standards in their vehicles, especially in the wake of stricter safety regulations in India. This update made the Grand i10 a more appealing option for safety-conscious buyers.
Wednesday, 11 July 2018 07:16 PM In July 2018, the facelifted Grand i10 was noted for its improved exterior design, featuring a new cascade effect grille and LED daytime running lights integrated into the fog lamp housing. These aesthetic changes gave the car a fresh and modern look. The chrome strip below the bonnet also got a slight upward curl, adding to the cars visual appeal.
Wednesday, 11 July 2018 03:01 PM Around the same time, the 2018 Hyundai Grand i10 Asta Petrol was praised for its comfortable interior, particularly the rear seat with adjustable headrests and decent under-thigh support. However, the middle seatbelt being untethered was a minor drawback. The cars overall comfort and spaciousness made it a great option for family use. I believe the rear seat comfort is one of the best in its class.
Sunday, 15 April 2018 10:35 AM In April 2018, there was speculation about the possible addition of Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) to the Grand i10, although this was not immediately confirmed by Hyundai. This potential update would have further enhanced the vehicles safety features.
Thursday, 15 February 2018 07:49 PM By February 2018, the facelifted Grand i10 had made its way to the Indian market, offering sharper exterior styling, improved refinement levels, and minor suspension enhancements. The Fluid and Glide variants also received a more comprehensive infotainment system, making the car more appealing to tech-savvy buyers.
Friday, 15 December 2017 07:28 AM In December 2017, Hyundai expanded the Grand i10 range by introducing a new entry-level Motion derivative powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This move aimed to provide more options for budget-conscious buyers while maintaining the cars overall performance and features.
Saturday, 15 July 2017 08:25 AM Around July 2017, the Grand i10 received styling tweaks, including revised bumpers, a honeycomb-mesh grille, and new front-foglamp bezels. These changes gave the car a refreshed look and helped it stay competitive in the market.
Saturday, 15 April 2017 04:28 AM In April 2017, Hyundais local division in India rejigged the Grand i10 range, offering the base Motion grade with either manual or automatic transmission. This flexibility in transmission options made the car more appealing to a wider range of buyers.
Saturday, 31 December 2016 12:42 AM By the end of 2016, the Grand i10 had established itself as a reliable and spacious option in the hatchback segment. Its proven engines and commendable cabin space made it a favorite among those looking for a budget-friendly yet feature-rich vehicle. I think its reliability is a major selling point.
