Grand Cherokee SRT is a powerful and technologically advanced Jeep with an aggressive profile that reflects its power and capability. The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a perfect example of superior performance combined with ultra-premium luxury. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is now on-sale in India with a starting price tag of Rs 1.12 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi). The overall length, width and height of Grand Cherokee is 4828, 1954, 1749 respectively(all values in mm). It has a wheelbase of 2915 mm and the gross weight is 2955 kg. It offers a ground clearance of 210 mm.

The exterior includes aggressive and athletic features and awesome features. There is a gloss black treatment on its front grille and lower mouth area. It has got bright LED daytime running lights-another feature to grab attention on the road. The front fascia is aerodynamic and features body-color wheel flares. If the exteriors reflect class, the interiors add to the charisma. The seats have been designed with Laguna leather seats. You can easily feel the natural softness and shine in the leather. Even the steering wheel is leather wrapped to give you a premium feel while riding the vehicle.

The interior ambience is uplifted by 19-speaker sound system and active noise cancellation which reduces affect of outside noise. It gets its power from the SRT 6.4 litre HEMI V8 engine which can generate 470 HP @ 6000 rpm of maximum power and 624 Nm @ 4300 rpm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic and a five-mode all-wheel-drive system.

You have access to fully electronic automatic shift mode or climb up and down the gears with steering-wheel paddle controls. The Eco Mode and Fuel Saver Technology gives both power and efficiency control in your hands. With the Launch Control button, you can activate a system that will optimize every possible setting to give you maximum acceleration off the line.

Grand Cherokee SRT comes with The Selec-Track® system which gives power in the hands of the driver to adjust driving settings to maximize performance. A simple interface gives you control over suspension, shift schedule, torque distribution, stability control and engine mapping.

There is also a sophisticated Active Damping System which opens and closes the suspension’s damper valves depending upon which of the five settings is chosen. The braking system consists of a Brembo high-performance braking system with a four-wheel disc anti-lock brake system (ABS). It has got 38.1 cms (15-inch) rotors at the front with six-piston calipers and 35.05 cms (13.8-inch) rotors with four-piston calipers at the rear.

With the Uconnect® System on Cherokee SRT you can keep a check over the performance statistics. It is a 21.336 cms (8.4-inch) touchscreen which displays statistics like braking, dynamic handling, engine horsepower, engine torque and acceleration. They will also help you to keep a check over oil pressure, battery voltage, coolant and intake air temperature
