The aging Yamaha R15 V 2.0 has received a price hike of Rs 4,000 along with three new color options. The three new colors – Revving Blue, Sparky Green And Adrenaline Red, will all be priced at a uniform Rs 1,18,373 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The revving blue R15 which looks quite jazzy was put on display at the Auto Expo 2016. Apart from the price hike and new colors, the bikes receives no aesthetic or mechanical upgrades. The bike is powered by the same single cylinder, liquid cooled 149 cc engine churning out a max power of 17 PS @ 8500 rpm and peak torque of 15 NM @ 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six speed gearbox.

An updated version of the R15 was spotted testing in Indonesia. This new version is soon expected to make its way to India and replace the aging bike.
