2017 Yamaha FZ Fi & Fazer Fi Series Launched Yamaha Motor India recently updated the FZ and Fazer series, launching the 2017 variant for three of its existing models. The changes are cosmetic only as Yamaha bikes were equipped with fuel injection and already complied with the BS4 emission norms. 2017 Yamaha FZ-Fi now comes in Barrel Red and Bomber Black shade, retailed for a price tag of INR 80,726 (ex-showroom Delhi). All three models are now offered without a tyre hugger, bringing back the large rear mudguard to the 2017 series. 2017-03-21 12_24_39-India Yamaha Motor - FZ Ver 2.0 (FI) 2017-03-21 12_24_43-India Yamaha Motor - FZ Ver 2.0 (FI) 2017 Yamaha FZ-S is now offered in four new and one existing shade. The new ones are named Hurricane Gray, Knight Red, Lightning Cyan and Opal White. All of these costs INR 82,789 while the Matt Green shade costs INR 1,000 extra over the given price. Yamaha FZS-Fi now brings even brighter shades to the competition, keeping all other mechanical aspects exactly the same as the 2016 variant.

Yamaha Fazer now comes in Midnight Black, Burning Red and Marble White shade. It retails for INR 87,935 and offers the same set of features as the 2016 variant. Yamaha still skipped the rear disc brake option as all other are offering the same in this segment. The 149 cc, single cylinder fuel injected engine on the FZ and Fazer series is good for 13.2 PS at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. All of the bikes ride of 140/60-17 rear radial tyre from the new FZ25.
