Both the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport showcase a more aggressive design with blacked-out elements including the grille, ‘TAIGUN’ badge, and roof rails. These models are further distinguished by red ‘GT’ badges, red front brake calipers, a carbon steel grey roof, and dark chrome handles. They ride on black alloy wheels and feature LED headlights for a sleek finish.

Inside, the ambiance is dominated by an all-black theme complemented by red ambient lighting. The cabin features ‘Edgy Opulence’ dashboard inserts and contrasting stitching—red in the GT Plus Sport and grey in the GT Line.

Powertrain Options

Expanding beyond the previously 1.5-litre engine-only GT variants, the Taigun GT Line now offers a 1-litre engine option. This engine is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol producing 115 PS and 178 Nm. The more robust 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter for the GT Line, and a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the GT Plus.

Market Competition

The Taigun faces stiff competition from rivals like the Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. These additions to the Taigun range add to its appeal in the competitive compact SUV segment.
