Ultraviolette Automotive recorded its highest monthly retail result in July 2026, delivering 694 electric motorcycles. The total represents a reported 406 percent year-on-year increase and gives the Bengaluru-based premium EV maker a fresh scale milestone.

Deliveries between January and July 2026 reached approximately 3,200 units. The company’s physical footprint has also expanded to 40 locations, with a stated ambition to reach 100 as it takes its performance-electric proposition beyond the earliest metro markets.

A record month, from a small base

The percentage jump is eye-catching, but the absolute number is the more useful measure. A 694-unit month shows that premium electric motorcycles are beginning to find a wider customer base, while remaining a specialised slice of India’s much larger two-wheeler market.

Ultraviolette’s growth is tied to a portfolio built around high-performance electric motorcycles and the expansion of experience and service locations. That network is important because a premium EV purchase depends on test rides, product education and confidence in after-sales support.

Why the network number matters

Reaching 40 locations reduces the distance between the brand and buyers outside its first launch cities. If the planned expansion toward 100 locations is executed with reliable service coverage, the company can test demand across a much broader set of riding markets.

That does not automatically translate into the same growth rate every month. Year-on-year percentages can be amplified by a low comparison base, and retail momentum will also depend on supply, financing, new products and the consistency of the ownership experience.

What to watch next

The next indicators are repeatable monthly volumes, the pace of new-location activation and the contribution of individual models. It will also be useful to see whether growth remains concentrated in a few cities or becomes geographically balanced.

For July, the conclusion is clear: 694 deliveries mark Ultraviolette’s best reported month, and 3,200 January-to-July deliveries show that its premium electric-motorcycle category is moving beyond the purely experimental stage.
