While the bZ4X was developed in collaboration with Subaru and received its battery from GAC, the bZ3 electric sedan was developed in collaboration with BYD. Toyota bZ3 electric sedan can be thought of as an electric version of the company's Corolla sedan, much like the RAV4 was to the bZ4X. The headlights and LED light bars on the bZ3 are like those on the bZ4X.

bZ3 gets an interesting window line rising near its C-pillar on the side. It doesn't have the same slick appearance as a German sedan. Toyota bZ3 electric sedan's taillights are a wide LED bar that runs across the width and ends in a Y pattern at both ends. Some images also show a decent white and black dual-tone paint scheme.
