To begin with, the front fascia has been redesigned, and it gets a new Camry-inspired grille. There are two chrome slats that are stretched until the headlamps. The headlamp design is the same as the Baleno, but the LED DRLs are different. The front bumper looks muscular and gets an aggressive air dam with hexagonal mesh. The fog lamp housing has also been revamped and now gets chrome surrounds. Two black plastic pieces around the air dam look like horns and add to the aggressive look.

At the rear and side profile, no other changes have been noted except the new alloy wheels and new badging. Mechanically, Glanza will remain the same. It will come with a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates a maximum of 90 PS of power and a peak torque of 113 Nm. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. We are hoping that the figures for the claimed fuel capacity will remain the same.

The feature list of the new Glanza will remain the same as the Baleno. It will have a highlight head-up display and a 360-degree parking camera. It will also have automatic climate control, cruise control, a flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, a coloured multi-information display, UV cut glass, push buttons to start/stop the engine, keyless entry, etc. The 2022 Toyota Glanza will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo and the upcoming Citreon C3.
