Toyota has announced that the ZX and ZX (O) variants of the Innova Hycross are once again available for booking on their official website. These variants had temporarily stopped bookings in April last year due to supply-related issues. However, now customers can reserve their Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) variants.
Price Hike for Innova Hycross Hybrid
Effective April 1, 2024, Toyota has increased the prices of the hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross by 1%. This price adjustment reflects a range between Rs 25.97 lakh to Rs 30.98 lakh for the top-end ZX (O) variant. Depending on the variant, the price hike for the Innova Hycross ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000. Meanwhile, the non-hybrid variants of the MPV remain priced between Rs 19.77 lakh and Rs 19.82 lakh.
Dispatches of ZX (O) Variant Continue
Despite the temporary halt in bookings, production of the Innova Hycross ZX (O) variant was not stopped entirely, with limited dispatches ongoing. Customers who had booked this variant received their vehicles after a delay. Initially, when Toyota began deliveries in January last year, the top-spec hybrid variants were prioritized and saw high demand. The company later announced the halt in bookings for the ZX and ZX (O) variants.
Powertrain Options for Innova Hycross
The Innova Hycross offers two powertrain options: a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 173hp and 209Nm, and a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder strong-hybrid generating 184hp. The hybrid variant is mated to an e-Drive transmission.
Upcoming Non-Hybrid Variant: GX (O)
Toyota is set to introduce a new non-hybrid variant of the Innova Hycross, named GX (O). This variant will be available with both seven- and eight-seat configurations. It will come equipped with LED fog lamps, rear window demister, auto climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft-touch dashboard, a rear retractable sunshade (7-seater only), 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay (7-seater only).
