Corolla Cross India Launch Delayed
Regarding its availability in India, Toyota had initially planned to introduce the Corolla Cross to the Indian market in 2026. However, the company has announced a delay in these plans citing concerns over the project's technical and commercial viability. The proposed project, internally known as the 340 D, aimed to position the Corolla Cross as a locally manufactured offering for both domestic consumption and export purposes. Despite initial intentions, Toyota has decided to postpone the launch indefinitely, indicating that further assessments are necessary to determine the feasibility of introducing the model to Indian consumers.
