Tata Tigor Launched in India @ INR 4.70 Lakh

Tata Tigor is powered by the same set of Revotron and Revotorq engines that were specially developed for the Tiago hatcback. The 1.2 liter, three cylinder petrol motor on the car is good for 85 HP at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm at 3500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.05 liter, three cylinder turbo diesel motor is good for 70 HP at 4000 rpm and 140 Nm at 1800-3000 rpm. Both the cars are front wheel drive and offer 35 liter of fuel tank for excellent single refill mileage. The top spec petrol variant weighs 1062 kg while the diesel weighs 1130 kg. The petrol Tigor is offered with large 15 inch diamond cut alloys while diesel variant gets standard alloy wheels with 14 inch diameter for bigger tyre sidewall and better cushioning. The interior is very well finished and most components are shared with Tiago hatchback. The inclusion of touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control dials makes the new Tigor a better option over the hatchback variant.
