GST basically stands for Goods and Service tax which is uniformly applicable all over the country and also at all the products and services at pre-determined tax slabs. It is set to reduce the cascading effect previously caused by VAT and CST.
The automobile industry also is taking a price change impact after the implementation of GST on 1st of July 2017. The new price lists regarding the matter have also been upgraded. Tata has also upgraded their prices for their models. The price range has been stated as follows:
Tata Tiago
Tata Tigor is the latest generation compact sedan launched in the market from Tata Motors. It is available in 2 models of 1.2 litre Revotorq Petrol and 1.05 litre Revotorq Diesel engine. Both the cars run on a 5 speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine produces a maximum power of 85 PS and gives out a torque of 114 Nm. The diesel engine delivers 70 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque.
