As the countdown to the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 begins, automakers are teasing enthusiasts with glimpses of what to expect at their stalls. Tata Motors has unveiled its product range including details on some of the models, most notably the ICE Curvv SUV.
Curvv's Powertrain and Specifications
Tata Motors has confirmed that the ICE version of the upcoming Curvv SUV will be propelled by a robust 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, currently utilized in the Tata Nexon facelift. Producing a powerful 113 horsepower and an amazing 260 Nm of torque this engine layout excels in performance. Driving dynamics are promised when paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
In terms of dimensions, the Curvv stands tall at 4,308mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,630mm in height. With a large wheelbase of 2,560mm, the roomy cabin provides enough of legroom for passengers. The Curvv also has a large boot (422 liters), which makes it convenient to store luggage when traveling.
Feature-rich Interior
Equipped with cutting-edge features borrowed from its sibling, the Nexon, the Curvv promises a luxurious and technologically advanced interior. Drivers can expect a user-friendly 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The digital driver's display, also measuring 10.25 inches, offers crisp visuals and intuitive navigation.
The Curvv's big panoramic sunroof enhances comfort and convenience by letting passengers take in plenty of natural light and vast views of the surroundings. The cabin is made more elegant by the two-spoke steering wheel which has an illuminated emblem in the center.
