Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Launched in India at INR 1.71 Lakh

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Launched in India: Suzuki has finally launched the much-awaited Gixxer SF 250 in India for INR 1,70,655. The motorcycle brings class-leading styling, superb performance, and balanced riding style to the quarter-litre segment. The 249cc, single cylinder engine on the motorcycle is equipped with oil-cooler and fuel injection, producing 26.5 HP at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm at 7500 rpm. The six-speed gearbox further improves its position in comparison to the Yamaha Fazer 25. The front fascia of the motorcycle is slightly inspired by the GSX-R150, using the same headlight expanding theme that is different in comparison to the curved triangular units seen on most Suzuki bikes. The front fender comes with the ABS logo while Suzuki moniker rests on the fuel tank. The chiselled fuel tank explains how Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 plans to march ahead of the old CBR design language from Honda. However, the rear proves to be equally effective with a familiar exhaust that now ends with a squarish chrome finish and floating fender that is mounted on the swingarm. The all-digital instrument console now comes with more information. Suzuki has also graced the model with clip-on handlebars to improve the already sporty position. The Gixxer SF 250 comes with a 12-litre fuel tank, making it good for city-specific or occasional highway rides while mileage will fall around 35 kmpl in regular riding conditions. The bike weighs 161 kg and comes with dual channel ABS as standard. Leading the segment in terms of tires, SF 250 comes with 110-section front and 150-section rear tire. The wheelbase measures 1345mm while the motorcycle is only available in a single variant. The rivals on paper include Yamaha Fazer 25 and the Honda CBR250R. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is available in 2 colours: Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, and Metallic Matte Black.
