Xiaomi has just announced its most-awaited Mi Band 4 at an event in China. The band looks better than before as it is now available with 0.95-inch AMOLED 24-bit colour touch screen display, which is about 39.9% bigger than its predecessor. It displays more characters and comes protected with 2.5D scratch resistant glass. It has about 77 different watch faces. The band is also 5ATM water resistant which means one can take it for swimming under 50 meters.
The Mi band 4 shows time, steps, activities, heart rate, weather, notifications from apps, calls and more. The wrist band comes with a 6-axis high-precision sensor and comes with 6 sport modes, that can track swimming data in real time and also supports smart stroke recognition. It also has NFC (Near Field Communication) that has support for Alipay in China. The NFC edition of the phone also has a microphone for voice assistant.
The Mi Band 4 also features a built-in microphone with Xiao AI voice assistant that can control Xiaomi Smart Home IoT accessories. The Mi Band 4 also has a heart rate sensor and also supports Photoplethysmography (PPG). It also monitors the user's fitness and tracks the sleep as well.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be available in 5 shades: Black, Brown, Blue, Orange, and Pink. It is priced at 169 yuan, which is approximately INR 1700. It will go on sale in China from June 16. The NFC edition is priced at 229 yuan (approximately INR 2300).
Apart from these two versions, there is also a Mi Band 4 Avengers Edition with custom dials which match the wrist bands for Captain America, Avengers, and Iron Man. This edition of the smart band costs 349 yuan, which is approximately INR 3500.
