Skoda Kushaq Gets a Revision, Now Pricier by Up to Rs. 1 Lakh

Skoda India has implemented price adjustments for its popular SUV, the Kushaq, effective from January 1, 2024. This move comes as part of the industry dynamics reflecting changes in production costs and market conditions. The adjustments vary across different variants of the Kushaq lineup.

Base Variant Increase

The entry-level variant, Active 1.0-litre, witnessed the most substantial price hike, with an increase of Rs. 1 lakh. The new pricing for this variant is now Rs. 11.89 lakh.

Onyx and Ambition Variants

The Onyx 1.0-litre variant experienced a moderate increase of Rs. 40,000, bringing its new price to Rs. 12.79 lakh. Meanwhile, the Ambition 1.0-litre variant saw a hike of Rs. 66,000, resulting in a revised price of Rs. 14.19 lakh.

Style Variants

The Style 1.0-litre variant without a sunroof maintained its existing price at Rs. 15.91 lakh. However, the Style 1.0-litre variant with a sunroof saw an increase of Rs. 48,000, reaching Rs. 16.59 lakh.

Matte Edition

The Matte Edition 1.0-litre variant did not see any changes in its pricing and continues to be available at Rs. 16.19 lakh.

Transmission Options

The price adjustments apply to both manual and automatic transmission options across the entire Skoda Kushaq range, offering customers a range of choices to suit their preferences.

Skoda's decision to revise the prices of the Kushaq aligns with the brand's strategy to adapt to evolving market dynamics. While some variants experienced notable increases, others remained unchanged, reflecting Skoda's efforts to balance competitive pricing and features in the highly competitive compact SUV segment in India. The adjustments aim to ensure the Kushaq continues to be a strong contender in its category catering to diverse customer preferences.
