Yamaha has recently updated the Tricity 125 three-wheel scooter for the European two-wheeler market. The Tricity 125 went on sale in 2014 and is one of the most affordable scooters in Europe. It gets an LMW (Leaning Multi-Wheel) Ackermann steering system with two front wheels. They aid in enhancing traction and stability at the front, while the reworked chassis is said to increase the machine's stability and riding pleasure.

At its heart, the Yamaha Tricity 125 is powered by a Euro 5-compliant 125 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. The powertrain incorporates Yamaha's Blue Core technology, as well as Variable Valve Actuation and an engine start/stop system. This engine is capable of churning out 15 hp at 8,000rpm and 11.2 Nm of max torque at 6,000 rpm. The fuel tank capacity of the scooter is 7.2 litres, and it weighs 168 kg.

Speaking of the braking and suspension duties in the three-wheel scooter, the braking has been done by a dual 220mm front disc unit and a single 230mm rear disc, while the brand has revised the rear suspension with twin shock absorbers for enhanced ride quality.

Yamaha has offered the 2022 Tricity 125 in three different paint schemes called Icon Grey, Matte Grey, and Milky White. The three-wheeler’s front fascia boasts an LED headlight, a tall windscreen, and noticeable body panels with a bulging single-piece seat, a side-mounted exhaust system, and a wider than normal footboard, and so on.
