Bajaj Chetak electric scooter has been recently launched in India at a starting price tag of INR 1 lakh for the base Urbane variant while the price tag for the higher-spec premium variant goes all the way up to INR 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom). The deliveries of both the variants were expected to commence in February while as per the latest buzz, the Chetak Urbane customers will have to wait longer than that. The delay in starting the deliveries for the base variant will allow the brand with buffer time to expand its dealerships across several other cities and offer the entry-level scooter variant at a later stage. At present, the Chetak electric scooter is only available in Pune and Bengaluru at the select KTM dealerships. The brand will be offering their debutant e-scooter with a complimentary charger in addition to offering a 3-year/50,000 km warranty with every purchase.
