The Suzuki Saluto 125 was revealed by the brand at the 2020 Taipei Motor Show back in January this year. Based on the underpinnings of the Suzuki Access, the Saluto scooter is powered by the same 124cc single-cylinder engine that powers the Access 125 in the Indian market. Coming to the major differences, the Suzuki Saluto 125 features a retro-modern design language that is further inspired by the very-famous Lambretta scooters. The scooter features chrome detailing on the body panels while the sportier accents add to its uniqueness. The rear section of the scooter has been equipped with a unique tail lamp design while the LED indicators have been integrated neatly into the body fairing. The brand has further equipped the Suzuki Saluto 125 with a semi-digital instrument panel that features a chrome bezel on top accentuating its overall neo-retro appeal. Powering the scooter is a 124cc single-cylinder engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 9.4HP and a peak torque of 10Nm. Comparing the power and torque figures with the ones offered by the Suzuki Access 125, the latter is good for 8.7HP of power while the torque remains the same at 10Nm. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the while the rear wheel has been equipped with a monoshock suspension. The brand has further equipped the all-new scooter with a keyless ignition in addition to offering a hazard light and a multi-function ignition slot. The chances of Suzuki Saluto 125's launch in the Indian market looks negligible. If launched in India, the all-new Saluto 125 will compete in the market with the likes of Piaggio Vespa 125 portfolio.
