Sales Report: Top 10 Best-Selling Scooters in India (December 2019)

The list of top 10 best-selling scooters in India for December 2019 is out now. Honda’s Activa continues to remain on top by registering a sales figure of 1,31,899 units, though the sales of the scooter witnessed a decline by 24.3% compared to the sales figure it had posted in December 2018. Suzuki’s Access bagged the second position in the list with a sales figure of 37,495 units. Following it is the TVS Jupiter and NTorq that are placed at third and fourth position respectively. The TVS Jupiter managed to post a sales figure of 36,184 units whereas NTorq registered 21,026 units for December 2019. Next in the list is Honda’s Dio that witnessed a decline of 34.2% as compared to the sales number it had posted in the same month last year. The scooter bagged 20,516 units for December 2019. A drastic improvement in sales has been shown by Hero’s Pleasure which managed to register a sales figure of 11,391 units, which is 69.3% more than the sales figure posted by the scooter in the same month last year. It is placed at sixth position in the list. The seventh position in the list has been marked by Yamaha’s Fascino which managed to register a sales figure of 8,181 units for December 2019. The next scooter in the list is TVS Pep+ that managed to post a sales figure of 7,135 units. The ninth position in the list has been marked by Suzuki’s Burgman scooter that witnessed sales of 5,188 units for December 2019 which is 66.7% more in comparison to December 2018. The tenth position in the list has been occupied by TVS Scooty Zest that registered sales of 5,116 units with a growth of 8.9%.
