Royal Enfield is gearing up to release a slew of new models in the upcoming days. While spy photographs of a road-oriented Himalayan prototype have just appeared online, the manufacturer also has the Hunter 350 in the works, which has been sighted in a clear video once again.

According to the YouTube spy video description, the bike looked to be moving faster than 125kmph. It easily overtook the car in which the guy filming the video was travelling, and it was doing around 115kmph. This suggests that the Hunter may have a faster cruising speed than the current Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350.

The engine and platform will be the same as on the Meteor 350. This indicates that the Hunter will feature the same J-platform with a 349cc engine delivering 20.2 hp of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque. A five-speed gearbox is most likely an option.

The Hunter 350 might be equipped with a semi-digital console and a Tripper Navigation system. The same function was previously available in the Classic 350 and the Himalayan 2021. The sighted test mule is easily noticeable with a typical bulb-type headlight.

The Hunter is supposed to be significantly lighter than the Classic and Meteor. With a reduced weight, the Hunter 350 will appeal to novices and younger riders. After being launched, the new Hunter 350 will compete with the likes of the Honda CB350 RS. While speaking about its pricing in the Indian market, the bike is likely to be priced at an ex-showroom price of around Rs 1.70 lakh.
