Thanks to leaked patent images, enthusiasts and prospective buyers get an early glimpse of the production version of the Renault 5. Surprisingly, the design appears to stay remarkably close to the acclaimed 2021 concept car showcasing Renault's commitment to an aesthetically appealing and futuristic design.

Showcasing at the Geneva Motor Show

The official unveiling of the Electric 5 is slated to take place at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show on February 26, 2024, and this event is expected to be a crucial moment for Renault as it introduces its latest EV to the world.

The headlight surrounds now exhibit a slightly rounder profile, and the projectors take on a more conventionally shaped LED block form. Renault has officially disclosed that the electric motor powering the Renault 5 will produce 135hp. Moreover, this motor will be manufactured at Renault's historic Cleon factory, recognized for its production of electric powertrains for the Megane.
