In the initial days of 2024, several automakers have decided to adjust the prices of their vehicles. Following in the footsteps of Citroen, Skoda has also announced a price hike for two of its popular models – the Skoda Kushaq and the Skoda Slavia. However, it's interesting to note that the Skoda Kodiaq, the flagship SUV in Skoda's India lineup, remains unaffected by this price adjustment.

The base-spec Active variant of the Skoda Slavia has seen a price increase of Rs 64,000. Skoda has chosen to discontinue the Ambition Plus trims of the Slavia, which were introduced during the last festive season in 2023 for a limited period. The mid-spec Ambition variants now come with an additional cost of up to Rs 29,000, while the top-spec Style trims are up to Rs 61,000 more expensive. The non-sunroof Style variant, along with the Matte and Elegance editions of the Slavia, has not experienced any price changes. The Skoda Slavia is currently priced between Rs 11.53 lakh and Rs 19.12 lakh.

Customers looking to purchase the base-spec Active variant of the Skoda Kushaq will now have to shell out an additional Rs 1 lakh. The Onyx Plus variation was priced higher than the original model and has been discontinued. Similar to the Slavia, the non-sunroof Style variant of the Kushaq, along with its Matte and Elegance editions, is not affected by this price hike. The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition now costs up to Rs 48,000 more than the previous model. The tiny SUV's top-spec Style trims now cost up to Rs 48,000 more than the base Ambition models, which saw a price increase of up to Rs 81,000. The Skoda Kushaq is currently available for between Rs 11.89 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh.
It's worth noting that Skoda has plans to launch two new-generation models and its first-ever all-electric car in India in 2024.
