Xiaomi has recently introduced its multifunctional vacuum cleaner in India. Christened as Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P, it has a 2-in-1 sweeping and mopping function, 2100Pa powerful suction in addition to intelligent mapping and route planning, automatic recharge and resume, smart app control and 12 high precision sensors.
The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P is equipped with a Japanese NIDEC brushless motor that produces maximum airflow of 0.67m3/min and a maximum pressure of about 1800Pa providing effective and quick cleaning of floors/carpets. The LDS laser routing sensor scans 360-degree around continuously with a range up to 8 meters that is combined with the SLAM mapping positioning algorithm. It allows the Mi Robot Vacuum to train itself smartly and it quickly gets used to the house. It scrubs the surface in a circular pattern that mimics the manual mopping movement by scanning.
The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Cortex A7 processor with dual-core Mali 400GPU. The users can control the robot remotely via the Mi Home application. They can control a variety of functions such as changing the cleaning mode, tracking the working schedule and even adjusting the water level suitable for each room. It is also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. It comes in a pack with a 3200mAh battery and it offers 60 to 130 minutes of running time once completely charged.
The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop-P is available only in Black colour with an introductory price tag of INR 17,990. It is available for order via crowdfunding on the official website of Mi India with a goal of 10,000 units in a month. The multi-functional floor cleaner is also available with a no-cost EMI plan starting from INR 2,999 per month. The shipping for the Mi Robot Vacuum will commence from 15 September 2020.
