With the introduction of the Super Meteor 650 in January 2023, Royal Enfield will update its Indian product line. Reservations for the motorcycle have also started, according to the Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer. The colour schemes for this cruiser motorcycle that would be sold in our market have also been revealed by the company.

Although the prices have not yet been released, we anticipate that the entry-level model will cost around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The prices would keep changing depending on the variant and the chosen colour. Customers can also personalise the motorcycle with many add-ons.

The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 share the same platform as this cruiser motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be available in two models: standard and tourer. The standard version will come in five colours: Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Green, Interstellar Grey, and Astral Black. The Celestial Blue and Celestial Red paint schemes will be available for the Super Meteor 650 Tourer.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 comes with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox to produce 46.2 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque. The new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 will compete with motorcycles such as Benelli 502C and Kawasaki Vulcan S.
