Next-Gen Bajaj Pulsars Are Coming - Here's What We Know So Far

Bajaj Auto has recently launched three new bikes in India - N250, F250, and the N160. At the launch event of the 250cc motorcycles, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, cited that the brand was three years late in the introduction of the new platform. The brand is likely to debut the new-generation models of more Pulsar variants later this year, and the new bikes will be built on the platform that was presented with the launch of the new N250 and F250 bikes.

The new architecture will also be used on other vehicles in the lineup. The Bajaj Pulsar series now includes the Pulsar 125, NS125, Pulsar 150, NS160, N160, NS200, RS200, N250, and the F250. Because of the existence of liquid-cooled, single-cylinder fuel-injected engines, the Pulsar NS200 and RS200 are more sophisticated than other bikes.

The Pulsar RS200 is anticipated to be replaced by the larger R250 as there is a demand in India for quarter-litre faired supersport bikes with strong touring and handling ability. It may be positioned to compete with the Gixxer SF 250 and the Yamaha R15 V4. Pulsars with smaller engine cubic capacity may see significant style and function updates in their next avatars.

The new Bajaj Pulsar series may continue with the semi-digital instrument cluster, and providing high-performance statistics would be an emphasis. It will be fascinating to see which technology they use in the powertrain, but the new chassis may aid in delivering wider overall dimensions. The new 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke SOHC oil-cooled engine delivers 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox, and a slipper/assist clutch is standard on both the Pulsar N250 and F250.
