Xiaomi has officially launched its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi Y3 in India. It is a successor to the Redmi Y2, which was launched in 2018. The Redmi Y3 will be available in the market in Elegant Blue, Bold Red, and Prime Black colours. The smartphone gets a price tag of INR 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and INR 11,999 for the 4GB RAM variant. The Redmi Y3 will be available at Amazon India, Mi Online and offline stores from April 30th.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y3 features a 6.26-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels and it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 and has been equipped with 32GB internal storage for the 3GB RAM variant whereas it gets 64GB internal storage for the 4GB RAM variant.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 processor featuring Adreno 506 GPU and it packs a 4000mAh battery. Redmi Y3 gets a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2MP camera. In addition to this, it features a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.25 aperture. The smartphone gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and exhibits a dual SIM architecture.
