Xiaomi's Redmi brand has recently launched the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone in India with a starting price tag of INR 6,499. The latest budget smartphone by the brand gets featured with a 6.22-inch HD display with a dot notch and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Redmi 8A Dual comes powered with an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android Pie OS along with MIUI 11.
There is no significant change in the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone from the Redmi 8A except for the dual rear camera setup. Unlike Redmi 8A, this smartphone comes with a 13MP primary rear camera along with a secondary rear camera of 2MP. At the front, it gets an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone does not come with a fingerprint sensor but it does feature face unlock.

In terms of design, it gets a plastic back with Aura X Grip and comes with a splash-resistant P2i nano-coating. The Redmi 8A Dual comes in a pack with the same 5000mAH battery present on 8A with support for 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It also gets a feature of wired reverse charging. The smartphone is available in three colour options: Midnight Grey, Sea White, and Sea Blue.
The 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant of the phone gets a price tag of INR 6,499 whereas the 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant costs INR 6,999. It will go on sale starting from February 18th on Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home.
