Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 8A Pro smartphone in Indonesia. It is the rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual that was recently launched in India. It comes featured with a 6.22-inch HD+ display with dot drop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor that is paired to up to 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android Pie based on MIUI 11.
For optics, the Redmi 8A Pro gets a dual rear camera setup. It has a 13MP primary rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera. At the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. Coming to the design, Redmi 8A Pro gets a plastic back with Aura X grip along with splash resistant nano-coating. It does not have a fingerprint scanner but it supports face unlock. The smartphone comes in a pack with a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via USB Type-C and it also supports reverse charging.
