One major factor that must be taken into consideration is how the current situation of coronavirus pandemic will affect Samsung’s supply chain. The brand has its production lines in Vietnam and because of the current wave of this disease, it will surely face an impact. The sources reveal that Samsung is already preparing for the worst-case scenario expecting that the pandemic will continue its wrath in the second half of the year as well.
However, if the situation caused by the coronavirus doesn't get under control then Samsung has to postpone the actual release and sale of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 smartphones because the production lines will not be able to operate under such circumstances.
