Nokia in association with Flipkart has recently launched its debut Smart TV in India. The Nokia Smart TV has been specifically launched as a part of the “Made in India’ initiative started by the brand. The smart TV has been equipped with a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD infinity display. Equipped with Dolby Vision, the first-ever smart TV from the brand supports HDR 10 in addition to featuring MEMC technology, which stands for Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation.
The 55-inch display features a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels in addition to getting a 178-degree viewing angle and intelligent dimming. Powering the Nokia Smart TV is a 1.0GHz PureX quad-core Cortex A53 processor mated to Mali 450MP4 GPU. The brand has further equipped the TV with a 2.25GB RAM while the internal storage stands at 16GB. The bottom of the smart TV has been equipped with 24-watt built-in speakers with DTS TruSurround and features JBL audio optimization technology for deep bass.
The Nokia Smart TV runs on Android TV 9.0 operating system while the user can further access and download several applications from Google’s Android TV Play Store featured on the smart TV. The customers can avail the debut smart TV of the brand from December 10 via Flipkart at a price tag of INR 41,999. The brand is also offering a 10% instant discount on several credit and debit cards as well as on EMIs for every purchase of the smart TV, only for a limited period.
