Lenovo Z5, the mid-range smartphone from the Chinese Manufacturer has been launched today at an event in Beijing. The smartphone features a metal frame with a glass body and unlike the leaked images, it comes with an Apple iPhone X like notch display. Z5 will be available in three stunning shades: Black, Indigo Blue, and Aurora Blue, featuring 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for extra protection. It has been launched in China at a price of 1,299 yuan (Rs.13,600 approx.) and 1,799 yuan (Rs.18,900 approx.) for 64GB and 128 GB variant respectively. The smartphone is equipped with 6GB of RAM and will be available in two storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. Coming to the camera specifications, it gets a dual camera set up at the rear with the primary being 16 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture and the secondary being 8MP, both equipped with recording 4K resolution videos at 30 fps effortlessly. It also gets 8 megapixels of selfie camera based on AI. Article imageThe Lenovo Z5 is powered by 3,300mAh and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with customized ZUI 4.0 laid on top. It gets a rear fingerprint sensor and the DCI-P3 color gamut is quite impressive. Coming to the connectivity options, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth, A-GPS, GLONASS and BDS. The company has claimed the smartphone to be further updated on Android P. Lenovo Z5 is expected to be launched in India in coming weeks.
