Bittium has officially unveiled the Tough Mobile 2 at €1,550 (INR 1.21 lakh approx). The company has tagged it as the ‘World’s Most Secure Smartphone’, as it takes the security of a smartphone to the next level by a multilayered approach which combines both hardware and software solutions. The Bittium Tough Mobile 2 has been particularly built for professionals with the highest cyber security requirements. With the multi-container feature, both professional and personal use is secure, isolated, and easy. The phone has been designed and manufactured in Finland. Coming to its specifications, the security of the phone comes from its multi-layered security integrated into the hardware and source code which enables the data to be secured at all times. Its ultra-secure communication allows communicating without compromising usability. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie operating system while the next generation tamper detection technology prevents its data from theft and spying. The phone comes packed with a 3000mAh battery, high-quality speakers, and dual SIM support. The Tough Mobile 2 is available in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Bittium Tough Mobile 2 also features multi-microphone active noise cancellation. For optics, the phone has a 12MP auto-focus rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone also has water and dust-proof rating of IP 67. As far as the display is concerned, the phone has got MIL-STD-810G shock and drop resistant 5.2” screen which can be used either with gloved or wet hands.
