As per the latest sales report, the MG Hector SUV has managed to surpass the Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500, and the Jeep Compass in July 2019. Termed as the best-selling SUV in the Indian market, the MG Hector now stands tall at the number one position in terms of sales. Tata Harrier, the top position holder for June 2019 has been caught up by the recently launched SUV in the Indian market.
MG Hector was able to clock in a total of 1,508 units in its first month after the initial launch. Taking the second position is the Mahindra XUV500, being able to register a total of 1,116 units in July 2019, pushing the Tata Harrier to the third position.
The
Harrier SUV was able to clock in a total of 740 units in July 2019, witnessing a downfall in sales as compared to the previous month. The lowest sales have been marked by Jeep Compass SUV, being able to clock only 509 units in the same period.
Considering an overwhelming response, the bookings for the MG Hector have been closed down for the rest of 2019. The brand shall commence the bookings in 2020 after making all the deliveries of the SUV that have been booked till 19 July 2019.
