Mercedes Benz S-Class Connoisseur Edition has been launched in India for INR 1.21 Crore (S350d) and INR 1.32 Crore (S400). The prices are ex-showroom Pune. Mercedes offers the most extensive range of luxury premium sedan with variants named S350, S400, S500 Cabriolet, S63 AMG Coupe, Maybach S500, Maybach S600 and S600 Guard on offer currently. Most manufacturers are not even offering this much amount of products in their luxury car lineup.
The Connoisseur's Edition carries more luxury than a regular S-Class, offering executive seat behind the front passenger that reclines to 43.5 degrees and gets thigh support. It even gets air balance perfume package from the Mercedes Maybach and gets three stage memory function for front seats. Not just that, Mercedes Benz have updated the safety features on the Connoisseur's Edition, adding Night View Assist Plus for improved low light driving.
The car now detects pedestrians and large animals through its twin anti-dazzle infrared lamps. If detected, the system warns the driver with continuous flashing and even alerts the pedestrian at the same time. Important features on the car includes Burmester audio system, massaging seats with heat and cool function, adaptive cruise control and air suspension. The car even comes with panoramic sunroof and Wifi connectivity in the top spec variants.
