2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA Launched in India @ INR 30.65 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the updated 2017 model o GLA-Class in India. GLA is the smallest SUV available in the country welcoming its first ever update. The petrol GLA 200 Sport is available at a price of INR 32.20 lakhs. The Diesel variant of GLA 200d Style is placed at the base price of INR 30.65 lakhs. Prices mentioned hare are ex-showroom Delhi. The top range for the Diesel line-up goes up to a price of INR 36.75 lakhs for the 220d 4Matic. The small SUV also welcomes a couple of aesthetic changes such as the rear bumper which gives an SUV like appearance. There is also a Canyon Beige paint and new 18-inch alloy wheels. The petrol version of the GLA class utilizes a 2.0 litre engine and the Diesel Class utilizes a 2.1 litre engine. The power and torque specifications of the new models however remain unchanged. The GLA 200 generates a maximum power of 183 HP and gives out a torque of 300 Nm. The GLA 200d develops maximum power of 136 PS and generates max torque of 300 Nm. Both the models are equipped with hi tech 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The power and torque figures for top-end GLA 220d stands at 170 HP & 350 NM respectively. The cabin space of the new car feels same as the old model and the boot space is also same at 481 litres. The Mercedes-Benz GLA also gets an all-new infotainment system with an 8.0 inch touch screen which also supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It falls into direct competition to Audi Q3 and BMW X1 entry level luxury SUVs in the segment. 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class Prices List
