They might re-profile the front bumper and give it new LED fog lamps and a faux skid plate. The sides might be the same as before, the only exception being the alloy wheels, which might undergo some changes. The rear profile looks very similar to the existing version as seen in the spy images, however, critical changes might take place.

In terms of interior, it might get an update as well, such as new seat upholsteries and dashboard layout, a larger touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and more. Some noteworthy additions may include an electric sunroof, a 360° camera, wireless connectivity and Suzuki Connect in-car telematics. Automatic variants of Brezza 2022 are expected to get paddle shifters and safety will be enhanced as well by adding 6-airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent and hill hold assist.

The second-generation Brezza might come installed with a 1.5L K15C dual-jet petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology generating a peak power of 103 bhp and a peak torque of 137 Nm which could be mated with the 6-speed AT replacing the 4-speed unit, but the standard unit could be 5-speed manual transmission. With such brilliant changes, one could hope for a CNG variant as well.

Maruti Suzuki has launched multiple products for a few months now, including new-gen Celerio, updated Baleno, Dzire CNG, facelifted WagonR, Ertiga and XL6 and such. The next big expected launch by the Indo-Japanese manufacturer is the new-gen Brezza, previously known as Vitara Brezza. But there are reports that the makers are thinking of dropping Vitara and they might release it under the name of ‘Maruti Brezza’ and the report further suggested that the launch might be sooner than later.

If we believe the sources, the production is already on its way to their Manesar plant. Maruti has redesigned Brezza 2022 with many components when it comes to the exterior. It gets a new grille shape and style, a new dual pod projector LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs.
